Cure4Kids Charity Gala at Los Angeles
Servi-Tek, a recognized innovator in eco-friendly commercial cleaning and property services solutions, recently gathered with other local California businesses for an evening event to support children battling cancer.
IREM LA’s first charity gala was held on September 5, 2018, to benefit Cure4Kids, an online charitable organization that helps young people and their families fight cancer and other life-threatening illnesses.
Hosted at Los Angeles’ El Rey Theater, IREM LA’s Cure4Kids gala, “A Good Time For A Great Cause” showcased several activities throughout the event, including live entertainment, delicious foods, and a silent auction.
IREM LA promoted various ticket and sponsorship packages to raise awareness of and money for Cure4Kids’ many charitable services and offerings.
Eric Sorensen, President of Servi-Tek Engineering and Facility Services, represented the industrial cleaning company at the celebration that rallied support from dozens of other nearby organizations.
“Servi-Tek was grateful for the opportunity to participate in the recent Cure4Kids event,” he said.
“Philanthropy and giving back, both to our local and global community, are a major part of our company’s core cultural principles and Cure4Kids is such a worthy cause. We are thankful to IREM for coordinating this amazing night of live music, entertainment, and fun where we can all come together and raise money to help children with cancer and so many other sicknesses. It was our privilege to attend such an elegant affair and help Cure4Kids make a direct impact on young patients and their families as they navigate through their illness.”
As part of St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, Cure4Kids provides digital resources to healthcare professionals on a global scale to improve awareness and elevate care practices for pediatric patients with a wide range of serious diseases. Cure4Kids online system provides a variety of valuable content such as articles, seminars, and image-based instruction for doctors and practitioners to improve patient quality of life and medical care experience. The organization’s digital platform also offers free online meeting spaces and workgroups to help pediatric oncology-hematology field professionals share knowledge and collaborate for real-time access to critical information that can ultimately save lives.
Servi-Tek participates Cure4Kids Charity Gala at Los Angeles last 2018 and will continue to support other charities in the coming years.
